about

This CD contains five powerful chamber pieces, composed for piano, strings, horn and voice, that offer the first glimpse into Chris Lastovicka's lyrical, vibrant work.

Lastovicka's music maintains an architectural tension that unfolds and builds throughout the pieces. Changes are subtle, as in life, when suddenly we notice we are far from where we started, though the journey has been gradual.
